About Pool Pro Ultrafine Salt

Pool Pro Ultrafine Swimming Pool Salt is a naturally evaporated sea salt (sodium chloride). Produced in Australia, this high quality pool salt uses the natural elements of Australia’s pristine waters, clean air and sun. It is then harvested, double washed, dried, sized and packaged in accordance with a system that complies with ISO 9001. Pool Pro Ultrafine Swimming Pool Salt is a translucent to white solid, with a texture of medium-fine granules. It has a mean particle size of approximately 0.3mm and the addition of anti-caking additive FAN535.

 

Storage

Clean, dry storage and transport conditions are required to keep the product as delivered. Conditions less than 75% relative humidity are most suitable. Fine grain salts are particularly susceptible to caking. As a guide this product should be used within 3 - 6 months from manufacturer date to avoid significant caking problems. Product should be stored inside or out of direct sunlight to prevent UV damage to bags.

Directions For Use

Have your pool water analysed by a pool professional to be sure pH and chlorine levels are within the recommended ranges and to be certain of the quantity of salt required for your pool.

  1. Turn off salt chlorinator.
  2. Disconnect automatic cleaner.
  3. Do not place salt bag on any wet surface.
  4. Do not throw salt bag into pool.
  5. Open bag via the Easy Open tab & pour contents into the shallow end.
  6. Brush salt thoroughly to dissolve.
  7. Dispose of empty bag thoughtfully. This product bag is 100% recyclable.
  8. Ensure salt is completely dissolved prior to reconnecting automatic pool cleaner and/or turning salt chlorinator back on.

Pool Pro Premium Swimming Pool Salt is a translucent to white solid, with a texture of medium to fine granules. It has a mean particle size of approximately 0.8mm to 1.0mm.
