Changing spa water

Spa water should be changed every three to four months depending on usage. Alternatively remove and replace 1/3rd of the water volume every three to four weeks (if you do a partial water change, don't forget to test and balance the spa water).

Follow these steps to do a full water change:

1. Before you drain your spa water, use Spa Pro SPA & PIPE FLUSHA to flush out scum that accumulates in the pipes. 
2. Once you have flushed the pipes, turn the power off to the spa.
3. Follow the spa manufacturer's instructions on how to drain the water.
4. Don't forget to remove the filters and clean them with Spa Pro FILTER CLEANER & DEGREASER.
5. Wipe down the interior surface of the empty spa with a soft sponge or cloth and mild dishwashing liquid. Feel free to wipe again with the sponge and plain water.
6. Take this opportunity to inspect the interior's surface for any damage, as well as any jets, nozzles and buttons.
7. Follow the spa manufacturer's instructions for how to refill the spa.
8. Turn the power back on to the spa and begin running the spa.
9. Add in your spa chemicals according to the specific label instructions. Always take care when handling any pool and spa chemicals.
