Sanitation (sometimes referred to as disinfecting products) means using one of the Pool Pro Chlorine products, in your pool to kill bacteria and algae. Pools do not get algae or go green unless there is insufficient available chlorine to kill bacteria. Your pool should be tested regularly to ensure there is enough free and available chlorine to kill bacteria.

Use either a reliable test kit or dip and test strips available from your Pool Pro Stockist, or take your pool water directly to your Pool Pro Professional who will advise you on the most suitable chlorine for your pool. Even if you have a salt pool you will still need to use chlorine from time to time.
